In this day-long workshop, Tiaki Whaiaro's Kate Berridge examines ways to heal your heart and mind after the honeymoon of losing weight is over.

The 6-12 months after surgery is a whirlwind of changes, most exciting and new.

But once the weight loss effects end, many people find they struggle with their new life. Old habits start to come back, there's often weight regain, and a fear of returning to how you were before.

This course looks at the stages of transformation that will help with starting a new life after metabolic bariatric surgery:

- what is holding you back

- the keys to help you start afresh

- ways to heal

You'll work with Kate and in groups throughout the day.

• While Kate may offer advice if it comes up, this is not a course for weight loss 'tips' or 'hacks' - it is focused on addressing the mental and emotional side of caring for yourself long-term.
• You'll need to bring your own lunch or buy it from one of the many surrounding cafe's during the break for lunch.
